Sears v. Universal Protection Service, LLC d/b/a Allied Universal Security Services

May 1, 2023: This unpaid wage lawsuit was filed in the Indianapolis Division of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. The lawsuit alleges that Allied Universal only pays its hourly-paid security guards for their scheduled shift time rather than their actual recorded hours worked each day. Plaintiff seeks to represent a class of similarly situated workers who have been denied regular and overtime wages as a result of Allied Universal’s pay practices and policies.
