Palomar, et al. v. SMC Corporation of America

This unpaid wage lawsuit was filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. Our firm seeks to represent two classes of employees of SMC Corporation of America:

1. Our firm seeks to represent a class of former Sales Representatives of SMC who worked for SMC throughout the country. Our lawsuit alleges that SMC made unlawful wage deductions from these employees’ pay for the use of a company-required vehicle.

2. Our firm also seeks to represent a class of former Sales Trainees of SMC who participated in SMC Corporation of America’s Sales Academy and who were required to sign SMC’s “Training-, Relocation- and Accommodation-Related Expenses Reimbursement Agreement”. Our lawsuit alleges that this agreement violates the minimum wage provisions of the federal Fair Labor Standards Act.
